Lucy Dacus is a multi-talented American Artist that is a singer - songwriter - guitarist and producer. In addition to her solo work she is also a member of the indie super group by the name of “BoyGenius” they have released one studio album and 2 Extended Plays to critical acclaim. The band has won three Grammy awards in 2024 alone these include ‘Best alternative music album and they also became the first all-female group to win best rock song and best performance.
She first gained popularity as a solo artist from the release of her debut album “No Burden” in 2016. This album has songs like “I don’t wanna be funny anymore” which has over thirty two million views on Spotify alone as well as “…Familiar Place” which is almost at thirty million views. Her Second album titled “Historian” was released in 2018 and was released to critical acclaim. This album included songs like “Night Shift” which is almost at two hundred million views! How insane is that?
“Historian” is just warming you up for her next album that was released in 2021 and was titled “Home Video” which as a whole is way over one hundred million views. But it just keeps getting better! Her new album “Forever is a feeling” is getting ready to be released.
