Radio City Music Hall
Korean Superstar Jennie Kim is going on her first solo tour in 2025. The road trip is titled The Ruby Experience, which plays along with the name of her first full-length album, "Ruby." It's going to be a night of first-times, so expect to hear a ton of music that you maybe haven't listened to before. A month prior to the concert, this new album was still on pre-order, with not a lot of tracks available to preview.
If you're able to get your hands on a copy, you'll want to boost your listening hours before Monday, March 10th, rolls around. That way, you can be at Radio City Music Hall singing along to every song coming from the stage. Jennie is one of the up-and-coming acts in K-pop, and it's certainly an event you won't want to miss. Tickets are sold out on most platforms, but if you click the get tickets button here, you'll still have a chance to pick your seats.
New songs won't be the only thing that Jennie is bringing to NYC. Certainly, one of the more talked about elements from the teaser to this new Ruby album and The Ruby Experience tour is Jennie's look. She's going with the red hair, almost cabaret-like look. Through the first years of her career, she was more of a clean-cut performer. The look is obviously an element that aims to showcase "the edge" that Jennie wants to offer with her new material. It's also an indication that many of the visuals from this show are going to be epic! It's not just about the music, the choreography, the graphics; everything promises to be over the top on this night at Radio City.
With all of these "new" elements, it's going to be interesting to see how the mood inside the theater shifts when Jennie hits the crowd with one of her older tracks like "You & Me." This is more of an upbeat song that contrasts with the look that she's going with for her new album. Again, it could work really well because she can have the audience in a bit of a somber and then kick things up a notch. You'll be in the crowd reminded of exactly why you decided to head out to Radio City Music Hall for this event. If you want a word of advice, try to stay off social media to avoid spoilers from some of her earlier shows on this tour. That way once Monday, May 10th rolls around you'll be like a kid a candy store discovering new flavors as you go along.
Radio City Music Hall is known for its incredible acoustics and the fact that any seat in the house grants you an amazing view of the stage. Getting a chance to see Jennie up close might be too good of an opportunity to pass up, but you'll be able to take in the entirety of the show better if you're further away from the stage. Keep in mind that most places have these seats as sold out. If you click the get tickets button now, though, you may still have a chance to see Jennie's The Ruby Experience live!
