This summer, everyone here at Radio City Music Hall in the ever iconic New York City is so excited to welcome Hombres G and Enanitos Verdes as they bring their Huevos Revueltos Tour to town right here to the Hall on Thursday, June 26th - the first stop on the ten show tour run! The other dates include stops all around Texas, Southern California, and Miami. So, being the first date on the tour run, let’s make sure to set the boys off right and welcome them all back to America with open arms and deafening cheers.
Hombres G are a Spain-based pop rock group who have parlayed in the genres of garage rock and new wave since back when those things were new concepts in the music industry - especially in Europe. The band is made up of David Summers, guitarist Rafael Gutierrez, pianist Dani Mezquita, and drummer Javi Molina. Debuting in Madrid in the 80s and being likened to the Beatles for the poignant, youthful, and adolescent nature to their music. They have toured across the world, playing for shows of tens of thousands and bringing their sound and eclectic voices into the world for the last four decades. Now, they bring back their Huevos Revueltos Tour concept with Enanitos Verdes, which saw the two groups tour together under the same tour name back in 2018.
The Enanitos Verdes started in 1979 by the late Marciano Cantero, who recently passed away in 2022, and partially is the reason for the revival of the tour. Formed in Mendoza Argentina, they became international superstars for their traditional hits in the 80s and the 90s - and soon after, reached mainstream appeal after playing at the Argentinian Festival de la Falda and haven’t looked back since. Now, decades into their career and with accolades up and down their career - they’re ready to bring back their iconic tour showcase with Hombres G once again to woo another generation of young Spanish speaking rockers who have a lust for classic tunes with a contemporary flair.
