Daryl Hall is best known as a lead vocalist of his duo project "Hall & Oates". The duo has produced some of the 80s' best hits - "Maneater", "Say It Isn't So", "Out of Touch", "Kiss on My List", and many more. Beyond his work with Oates, he also has a couple of solo albums up his sleeve, including "Sacred Songs", a progressive rock collab with Robert Fripp. His 1986 album "Three Hearts in the Happy Ending Machine" served his best-selling single "Dreamtime" hitting #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Through the 70s and 80s, he became known for his slew of chart entries, hailed as one of the best soul singers at the time. "Daryl's pipes were a wonder. I have never worked with a more able singer," Fripp mentioned in Notes for Exposure 2006.
Elvis Costello is another legendary artist from the iconic decades in music. Rolling Stone praises the man as having "reinvigorated the literate, lyrical traditions of Bob Dylan and Van Morrison with the raw energy and sass that were principal ethics of punk," for his remarkable production and lyrical wordplay. His hit singles include "Oliver's Army", "Everyday I Write the Book", "The Only Flame in Town", and many more. To this day, his music continues to hit hard, becoming legendary pieces from 70s' and 80s' pop-rock.
