Radio City Music Hall
The last film in the original trilogy means it may be the last chance to see this experience live! At least at a venue like Radio City Music Hall. That's something that can't be understated. The hall itself has this aura that concertgoers can feel once they step inside. When you add to that the fact that you're getting to see one of your favorite movies with a full-scale orchestra, things just keep getting better and better. One of the toughest things about this event will be controlling where your eyes are. The idea is that you'll watch the movie and have the orchestra playing in the background, so to speak. Being in the presence, though, of a massive orchestra playing the score makes it hard to keep your eyes up on the screen.
If you're dealing with that issue on Saturday, March 1st let's say it's a good problem to have. Both the big musical numbers and, ironically, the pauses are vital to the experience. What this allows for is a sense of build-up to some of the biggest moments in the film. Picture this: you're done with a musical number, and therefore, the orchestra quiets down bit by bit. At that point, you're back to just watching the film. Ideally, you'll get lost in the 60-ft screen because this can create a sense of amazement every single time that the orchestra comes back into the fold to serenade one of the pivotal moments in the film. What you have is an emotional roll coaster of an experience at one of the best venues in the country. What's not to love about that?
Finding a good seat for this performance is pivotal. Yes, you'll be able to see the film and hear the orchestra from wherever you're sitting. However, having a spot where you can combine the two within your gaze and have that be a centered position inside the theater could take your night over the top. What you want to do right now is click the get tickets button. These seats are going to run out real soon!
